LEND ME YOUR HOPE

Lend me your hope for awhile,
I seem to have mislaid mine.
Lost and hopeless feelings accompany me daily,
Pain and confusion are my companions.
I know not where to turn;
Looking ahead to future times does not
Bring forth images of renewed hope.
I see troubled times, pain filled days, and more
Tragedy.

Lend me your hope for awhile,
I seem to have mislaid mine.
Hold my hand and hug me;
Listen to all my ramblings, recovery seems so
Far & distant.
The road to healing seems like a long and lonely
One.

Lend me your hope for awhile,
I see to have mislaid mine.
Stand by me, offer me your presence, your heart
And your love.
Acknowledge my pain, it is to real & ever present.
I am overwhelmed with sad and conflicting
Thoughts.

Lend me your hope for awhile,
A time will come when I will heal
And I will share my renewal, hope and love
With others.

*I am lending you my hope friends….for as long as you need it

ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance means that you
can find the serenity within
to let go of the past
with its mistakes and regrets,
move into the future
with a new perspective,
and appreciate the opportunity
to take a second chance.

Acceptance means that when
difficult times come into your life,
you'll find security again and comfort
to relieve any pain.
You'll find new dreams, fresh hopes,
and forgiveness of the heart.

Acceptance does not mean
that you will always be perfect.
It simply means that
you'll always overcome imperfection.

Acceptance is the road to peace -
letting go of the worst,
holding on to the best,
and finding the hope inside
that continues throughout life.

Acceptance is the heart's best defense,
love's greatest asset,
and the easiest way to keep believing
in yourself and others.

Choose To Be A Woman Of Strength

Choose to be well in every way. Choose to be happy no matter what. Decide that each day will be good just because you're alive.

You have power over your thoughts and feelings. Don't let your circumstances dictate how you feel.

Even if you don't have everything you want, even if you're in pain or in need, you can choose to be joyful no matter what you're experiencing. You are more than your body, your physical presence, and your material possessions. You are spirit. You have your mind, heart, and soul, and there is always something to be thankful for.

Decide that life is good. Decide to enjoy today. Decide that you will live life to the fullest now, no matter what.

Trust that you will change what needs changing, but also decide that you're not going to put off enjoying life just because you don't have everything you want now. Steadfastly refuse to let anything steal your joy. Choose to be happy, choose to be a woman of strength....and you will be!

TEARS OF A WOMAN

"Mom, why are you crying?" he asked his mom.

"Because I'm a woman" she told him.

"I don't understand," he said.

His mom just hugged him and said, "and you never will." Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason" was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to GOD. When GOD got on the phone the man said, "GOD, why do women cry so easily?"

GOD said:

"When I made women she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly. This same sensitivity helps her to make a child's boo-boo feel better and shares in her teenagers anxieties and fears.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

I gave her a tear to shed, it's hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed. It's her only weakness; it's a tear for mankind."

A TRIBUTE TO MOM

"A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts."

IMAGINE A WOMAN

Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman. A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories. Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life.

Imagine a woman who trusts and respects herself. A woman who listens to her needs and desires. Who meets them with tenderness and grace.

Imagine a woman who acknowledges the past's influence on the present. A woman who has walked through her past. Who has healed into the present.

Imagine a woman who authors her own life. A woman who exerts, initiates and moves on her own behalf. Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and wisest voice.

Imagine a woman who names her own gods. A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness. Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life.

Imagine a woman in love with her own body. A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is. Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.

Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body. A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom. Who refuses to use her life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.

Imagine a woman who values the women in her life. A woman who sits in circles of women. Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.

IMAGINE YOURSELF AS THIS WOMAN.

Find Unshakable Inner Peace

After the wind – stillness
After the waves – calmness
After the music – tranquility
And after the conversation – silencer.

Within the wheel is the empty hub
And it is this empty space that allows it to turn.

Within the window is transparent glass
And it is this transparency that allows in light.

Within the container is inner space
And it is this inner space that renders it useful.

Within each person is profound silence
And it is this silence that is their source of inspiration.

Therefore silence and formlessness are the
Wellspring of inner life.

So the Inspired Soul experiences…

Silence while being active
Emptiness as part of wholeness
Inner life creating outer life
And the peace that is present.
